Dr. Athar Saeed, PE, a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin, has over 24 years of progressive experience in all aspects of Pavements Engineering. Dr. Saeed has practiced in all facets of highway and airfield pavements, public and private infrastructure development projects including technical, and field leads and high-level communications with government entities and public interactions. His areas of expertise include all aspects of highway and airfield pavement materials, rigid and flexible pavement systems including structural and mix design of PCC and HMA, construction and performance monitoring, pavement inventory and performance data collection and interpretation, life cycle cost analyses, non-destructive and full-scale accelerated pavement testing and asset management systems. Dr. Saeed has also taught undergraduate and graduate level courses at academic institutions and actively participates in technical conferences to stay abreast with the latest in Transportation Engineering technology and has over 45 publications.
