Abhijit Roy is a Post-Doctoral Research Associate in the Department of Civil Engineering at The University of Texas at Arlington (UTA). He joined UTA as a Ph.D. student in 2019 under the supervision of Dr. Mohsen Shahandashti. He completed his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering on December 2023. During his Ph.D., his research was mainly focused on increasing the system-level resiliency of distributed infrastructure systems, more specifically, seismic vulnerability assessment and seismic rehabilitation of water distribution networks. Currently, he is working on the quantitative risk assessment of road networks’ concrete infrastructure assets.
