Adam Lanik is Vice President of ZKxKZ LLC. In addition to his other responsibilities, he leads all Vortex Roundabout activities for the company, including initial customer contact, design, pricing and quoting, manufacturing and installation. He regularly serves as on site field engineer for roundabout installations. He was the Principal Engineer during development of the modular roundabout system and co-author of four issued roundabout patents. He is ZKxKZ Lead Engineer for all new product design and development, including multiple programs for DOD.
He has worked in the aerospace and defense industry for his entire 17-year career. He worked for KaZaK Composites from 2007-2011 as a Lead Composite Materials Engineer, then for Plasan North America as a Lead Ballistics/Materials Engineer and Engineering Manager from 2011-2014. He then moved to San Diego to join San Diego Composites as a Program Manager/Principal Engineer from 2014-2016 before joining Dr. Fanucci at ZKxKZ.
In addition to roundabouts, he has significant experience with DOD programs ranging from development to production. A short list of production type programs are listed below:

• Product: Nimitz-Class Carrier Impact Recoverable Safety Stanchions, Customer: US Navy
• Product: CV-22 Osprey Radome/Hatch, Customer: Sierra Nevada/Air Force SOCOM
He has a BS in Composite Materials engineering from Winona State University, a MS in Plastics Engineering from University of Massachusetts-Lowell and an MBA from San Diego State University.
