Graduate Research Assistant
University of Georgia
Athens, Georgia, United States
Zack graduated from the University of Georgia in August 2023 with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. Following this achievement, he embarked on his journey to further expand his knowledge and skills in the field by pursuing a master's degree in civil engineering from the same institution. He is projected to complete his master’s degree in May 2024.
Currently, Zack is actively engaged in research as a graduate research assistant under the guidance of Dr. S. Sonny Kim. His research primarily centers on the application of ground penetrating radar technology in nondestructive roadway evaluation. In particular, Zack's work involves the utilization of ground penetrating radar to assess and analyze the engineering properties of cement-stabilized subgrade soil, as well as its application in full-depth reclamation projects.
