Andreas studied civil engineering at the Technical University of Munich. After completing his master's thesis at Porsche AG, he joined the Max Bögl Group in 2018. Initially, he was responsible for the infrastructure components of Max Bögl's automated maglev system (TSB) in the R&D department. This included providing the infrastructure for the first project of a 3.5 km line in China in 2019. In 2021 he initiated a demonstration project for automated container transport with maglev in the Port of Hamburg funded by the German Federal Ministry of Transport. He has also contributed to several studies on the implementation of urban maglev in Germany.
