After receiving his Master in Telecommunications Engineering from Technical University of Hamburg Harburg, Dr. Bert Zamzow joined the Public Networks Division of Siemens AG in Munich, Germany in 1996. After holding various positions in R&D and Product Management and completing his PhD thesis in Theoretical Electrical Engineering at the Technical University of Kaiserslautern he joined Corning Incorporated in 2000. There Dr. Bert Zamzow lead the global optical fiber splicing devices business. In 2007 he took over the role of Director R&D Communication Cables for the Europe, Middle East and Asia regions. Since 2010 he is leading the maglev business at Max Bögl.
