Matthew Medrano is a third year undergraduate student at Fresno State University and majoring in Civil Engineering. He's a member of Fresno State's Lyles College of Engineering Honors Program and is involved in the ASCE student chapter with an officer position. Under the guidance of Dr. Jorge
Pesantez and Dr. Roa, he worked on the agent-based model to simulate the opinion dynamics of a population threatened by a natural disaster event.
Matthew also has an interest in transportation and plans to attend graduate school in order to gain more knowledge about the engineering industry.
