Gergana studied architecture and urban planning at the University of Stuttgart (Bachelor of Science). She successfully completed her Master studies on Building Information Modeling and Integrated Design at the University of Salford in Manchester in 2019. Her Master thesis was on the subject of Smart City Planning with Building Information Modeling (BIM).
Since July 2020, Gergana has worked at Drees & Sommer in Stuttgart in the Smart Infrastructure department with main focus on BIM consulting and BIM management. Her core responsibilities include establishment and implementation of BIM management procedures among different projects. Gergana creates BIM workflows for the client, monitors the progress and ensures the effective communication between teams. She manages projects in different stages - from concept planning, through detailed planning, execution and handover to operations.
