Eduardo Perondi is a professor of the Mechanical Engineering Department of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS - Brazil) and coodinator of the Mechatronic and Control Laboratory at the same university. Since 2003 he holds a Ph.D degree at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC, Brazil). His research and academic activities include modelling, analysis and simulation of physical systems and design of mechanical systems controllers.
