Syed Ashik Ali is a Post-Doctoral Research Associate in Civil Engineering at the University of Oklahoma. He received his Ph.D. and M.S. degree in Civil Engineering from University of Oklahoma, Norman in 2021 and 2016, respectively. Dr. Ali has engaged himself in a number of externally funded projects as PI and Co-PI. He has been involved in research projects which are instrumental in enhancing the understanding of the performances of asphalt pavements as well as developing guidelines and specifications for Oklahoma Department of Transportation. Also, he has disseminated his research findings through presenting his work at different national and international conferences such as ASCE T&DI Conference, TRB meetings and IACMAG International Conference. He has received several prestigious awards including the University Gold Medal for the highest GPA in his civil engineering (B.S.) program. He was named a Dolese Fellow during his Ph.D. study through a very competitive process.
