Nora is a postdoctoral researcher at Arizona State University in the School of Sustainable Engineering and the Built Environment. She received her Ph.D. in 2023 from Stanford University in the Department of Energy Science and Engineering. Prior to pursuing her Ph.D., she received an M.S. from Stanford University in the Atmosphere/Energy Program, and a B.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Rice University. She has spent time as a summer fellow in energy access at the United Nations Foundation, a summer fellow at the City of Palo Alto Utilities, and a research analyst at the Center for Sustainable Energy. Her research is focused on putting equity and environmental justice at the center of decarbonization and the clean energy transition. Outside of work she is an avid hiker and photographer.
