Jeff Kramer, AICP, is the Program Director for Transportation Planning, Policy, and Processes at the Center for Urban Transportation Research (CUTR) at the University of South Florida (USF) in Tampa, FL. His research primarily focuses on metropolitan and statewide transportation policy, planning, and processes, including intergovernmental coordination and decision-making. He has published numerous reports, papers, and articles about various aspects of transportation planning, Mr. Kramer has worked with the Federal Highway Administration, state departments of transportation, lcoal jurisdictions, MPOs, and statewide associations of MPOs on a variety of issues related to transportation policy and practices and has provided training for hundreds of MPO Governing Board members. He is a member of the Transportation Research Board (TRB) Standing Committee on Strategic Management (AJE10) and the American Institute of Certified Planners and holds a Master's degree in City Planning from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Government from Cornell University.
