Ing Leslie Alexander Ayeh has over 42 years of experience in the field of Airports and Highway Engineering.
He experience spans in Africa where he has designed, supervised the Construction of projects.
His involvement in the field of Aviation spans over 36 years.
Over the last 10 years, He has been the Project Director of the Detailed Feasibility Study for the Construction of a new cargo and passenger Airport in the Central Region of Ghana The project involved evaluation of 6 sites and reasons for identifying the best. His firm served as the lead Consultant with Ricondo of Chicago and GCI of Orlando as associated Consultants.
He is currently serving as the Technical Advisor to a Pioneer Bank in Africa ECOBANk in financing Aviation projects.
Ing Ayeh is also the project Director on the Northern Apron project at the Kotoka International airport. Ing Ayeh worked closely with Ing Roy McQueen on the review of the Contractors design. The project seeks to provide 10 aircraft stands and also extend the taxiway by 400m. This project involved contraction of a 450000 metre cubed fill, the construction of both rigid and flexible pavement and the installation of associated aeronautical ground lighting.Improving the drainage system and the installation of a fuel hydrant system and provision of Fire hydrant systems.
Ing Ayeh was the project Director in the Phase 3 of the development of the Kotoka International airport. The works were to strengthen the airfield pavement by installing a pavement management system, improving the airfield lighting, improving the aircraft parking, improving the drainage systems and the extension of the fuel hydrant system and supervising the construction.
Other aviation projects include the design of runways and aprons. He assisted Ing Roy McQueen and Dr Hayhoe of federal Aviation in presentations on Pavement design in Ghana.
Ing Ayeh’s firm partnered Louis Berger and SH & E in a World Bank financed on restructuring of the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority.
