Nutvara Jantarathaneewat

Nutvara is a Ph.D. student in the transportation engineering program at the University of Washington. She received her scholarship from the Thai Royal Government for her master’s degree in Transportation Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison during 2017-2019. Her performance secured the continuation of the scholarship through her current Ph.D. student at STAR Lab. Prior to graduate study, Nutvara worked as a transportation engineer for the government sector in Thailand. One of her research areas of interest is the development of an intelligent transportation system, especially in rural areas. Her passion for developing transportation in rural areas reflects her determination to increase equality and improve the quality of life for people in rural communities.
