Dr. Lisa L. Losada-Rojas is currently an Assistant Professor position at the University of New Mexico. She was a Planner for Automated Vehicles Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Toronto - Mobility Network. She obtained her Ph.D. and master’s degrees from Purdue University in May 2022 and December 2017, respectively. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering at the National University of Colombia. During her graduate studies, Dr. Losada-Rojas received several awards and recognitions, such as being named a 2021 MIT CEE Rising Star and 2021 LATinE: Latinx Trailblazers in Engineering Fellow. Her research line aims to advance communities’ public health through transportation solutions. Other research interests include transportation planning, accessibility, modelling and forecasting, rural transportation, and sustainability.
