Karen Giese joined Transoft Solutions in 2021, bringing 20+ years of transportation experience to the team. Her career has spanned from the highly technical to the managerial and business aspects of the transportation industry. With a highly external focus, she is responsible for developing business and strategizing growth for the US market.
Karen is a Professional Engineer in the US and holds an M.S. and B.S. in Civil Engineering (Transportation) from Iowa State University. She is active in industry associations, including ITE, ITS America, and TRB. She also sits on the Seattle Regional Mobility Innovation Center Advisory Committee, which encompasses government and industry leaders from the greater Seattle region.
