Tairan Liu received his BS degree in Theoretical and Applied Mechanics from the University of Science and Technology of China, Hefei, Anhui, P.R. China, in 2012. He received his Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2020 from Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, USA. He held postdoctoral appointments at the University of Georgia (2020-21) and North Carolina State University (2021-22), and joined California State University, Long Beach, in Fall 2022. His research interests include nonlinear systems control, multi-agent systems, robotics, transportation, and precision agriculture.
