Haotian Shi serves as a research associate at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He received his Ph.D. degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in May 2023. He also received three M.S. degrees in Power and Machinery Engineering (Tianjin University, 2020), Civil and Environmental Engineering (UW-Madison, 2020), and Computer Sciences (UW-Madison, 2022). His main research directions are prediction/control of connected automated vehicles, intelligent transportation systems, traffic crash data analysis, and deep reinforcement learning.
