Dr. Adrian Cottam is an Assistant Research Professor for the Auburn University Transportation Research Institute (AUTRI). He received his Ph.D. from the University of Arizona in 2023, where he was honored as an Eisenhower Fellow and a GAANN Fellow. His research interests include applying machine learning to Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), evaluating new and emerging transportation modes, and microsimulation. He is currently working as the lead researcher on a project for the Department of Defense to evaluate Entry Control Facilities (ECFs).
