Anna Zumbrun is from Rome, New York. She graduated high school as valedictorian in June of 2022. Soon after, she went to Air Force Basic Military Training, and was given the title, Honor Graduate, for her outstanding performance. She was then trained as a Cyber Systems Operator, learning the complexities of networking and server maintenance. She earned her CompTIA Security+ Certification as a testament to her expertise. In the spring of 2023, she was able to start her education at SUNY Polytechnic Institute, majoring in Civil Engineering. She has taken rigorous courses in the subjects of structural, geotechnical, environmental, and transportation engineering. She is projected to graduate with her Bachelor's in May of 2025. Currently, she is working with Abolfazl Karimpour as a research assistant.
