Dr. Wang is an assistant research professor with a Ph.D. in Civil & Environmental Engineering from the University of Connecticut. His research centers around advanced statistical models for crash prediction, data analysis, transportation economics, and risk analysis. He also excels in driver behavior analysis, utilizing GIS and GPS technologies in transportation. Dr. Wang has been a key member of the Connecticut Transportation Safety Research Center since 2016, working to develop Safety Performance Functions and implement cost-effective safety measures for Connecticut's transportation systems.
