Celso Santos is a Ph.D. student in Civil Engineering at Michigan State University. He holds a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Universidade Metodista de Angola and a Master's in Civil Engineering from Iowa State University. Prior to joining Michigan State, Celso worked as a project manager, overseeing construction and telecommunication projects in Angola. His current research is focused on characterizing geomaterials to enhance pavement performance and evaluating the stiffness of unbound pavement materials and subgrade. Celso has actively participated in various projects with the Iowa Department of Transportation and the Michigan Department of Transportation (DOT).
