I am Huiqing Lyu, a PhD student. I began my PhD program at the Center for Urban Transportation Research at the University of South Florida in August 2021. I have joined a few research projects: (1) SCRIM Safety Data Analysis and Guideline Development for Using Continuous Pavement Friction Measurements to Support Prioritization of 3R and Safety Project Selection and Deployment, Federal Project #: D722-060-B; I am responsible for the data analysis. (2) “Toward a Florida Automated, Connected, Electric, and Shared (ACES) Transportation System Roadmap, Phase II”. I wrote the four technical deliverables associated with management and operations to coordinate the transfer of the Florida ACES Database and Activity Viewer from CUTR to FDOT. (3) Based on JavaScript and a SQL database, I developed a web-tool showing the optimized evacuation routes on a geographical map for the project “Optimal Scheduling, Routing, and Charging for Electric Vehicles in Hurricane Evacuation”. I have published papers related to my research.
