Talha Azfar has a background in Electrical Engineering and is currently a Ph.D. student in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (Transportation) at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) since Fall 2023, after transferring from The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP). Previously, he did his undergrad in Electrical Engineering from NUST, and masters in Electrical Systems Engineering from PIEAS in Pakistan. His research interests lie mainly in computer vision, embedded systems, deep learning, intelligent transportation systems, and digital twins.
