Hayden Flechner is a Master's Candidate studying Civil Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech). Originally from Tustin California, Hayden completed my Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo (Cal Poly). At Cal Poly, he contributed as a research assistant to synthesize a framework to study the VMT and GHG impacts of priority capital improvement projects across California. Now, at Georgia Tech, he is contributing to research that studies how roadway geometry, roadway conditions, and driver behavior impact driver safety. Hayden's professional career interests revolve around geometric roadway design and heavy civil design and construction. He is excited to learn the technical skills and ethics necessary to design sustainable transportation infrastructure.
