Guangwei Yang received the B.S. degree in civil engineering from Zhengzhou University, Zhengzhou, China, in 2008, the M.S. degree in civil engineering from Southwest Jiaotong University, Chengdu, China, in 2011, and the Ph.D. degree in civil engineering from Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, OK, USA, in 2017. From 2018 to 2022, he worked as Post-Doc Researcher and Senior Research Engineer at Oklahoma State University. He is currently a Research Associate in Virginia Tech Transportation Institute. His research interests include M-E pavement design, pavement management system, and pavement friction management via machine learning and deep learning models.
