Muhammad Monjurul Karim is a Postdoctoral Scholar at University of Washington. He received his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Stony Brook University and M.S. in Systems Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology. His research goal is to provide visual perception to the real world applications by achieving artificial intelligence. He is interested in solving large-scale visual recognition and prediction problems by developing novel deep learning approaches. His research experience includes but not limited to traffic accident anticipation, risk localization, object detection/segmentation, tracking, visual attention, and remote sensing.
