At the North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG), the metropolitan planning organization for the Dallas-Fort Worth region, Brendon Wheeler, P.E. works in Transportation Planning as the Program Manager for the Metropolitan Transportation Plan, the region’s long-range transportation plan. Part of his responsibilities include project management oversight on long-range transit planning projects and programs like the Dallas-Fort Worth High-Speed Transportation Connections Study, the Automated Transportation System Initiative, and the Certification of Emerging and Reliable Transportation Technologies (CERTT) program.
Brendon also has significant experience in civil design for commercial and residential land development projects. He received his civil engineering undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2011, and has served in various board member positions for the local sections of TexITE (Institute of Transportation Engineers, Texas District) and TSPE (Texas Society of Professional Engineers).
