Vangie P. Garcia is the City of Redmond’s Public Works Deputy Director overseeing Infrastrastructure and Mobility. She recently held the position of Transportation Planning and Engineering Manager that led the long-term transportation and strategic planning initiatives regarding the city’s transportation network. Prior to Redmond, Vangie worked in Transportation for the cities of Bellevue and Renton with a few years of consulting before that. With over 25 years of project management, program planning, and capital project delivery in local government, Vangie is passionate about helping get people to where they would like to go and improve quality of life for all.
