Johannes holds a university degree in mechanical engineering and economics.
He has more than 15 year’s experience in the field of automated people movers, during which he has gained experience as Director of Operations for Automated People Mover Projects in Las Vegas, Nevada; Doha, Qatar; Birmingham, UK; Toronto, Canada and Oakland, US.
For more than twelve international transit projects he was acting as CEO and Operations Director for successful long-term O&M Contracts.
Since 2022 Johannes is Leading Consultant for Drees & Sommer and is leading in the field of Operational Excellence as the holistic approach for smart infrastructure projects through the entire lifecycle.
He has published several papers and has been speaker at several international conferences and events in North America, Europe, Middle East and Asia.
