Thobias Sando, Ph.D., P.E., PTOE is a professor at the University of North Florida (UNF). He received his doctoral degree in civil engineering from Florida State University in 2005. His research interests include traffic safety and operations, intermodal facility design, highway safety, Intelligent Transportation System (ITS), and traffic simulation. He is a registered P.E. and PTOE. Dr. Sando also serves as the Faculty Advisor for the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE) Student Chapter at UNF.
