Kelvin C. P. Wang received the B.S. degree from Southwest Jiaotong University, China, the M.S. degree from Beijing Jiaotong University, China, and the Ph.D. degree from Arizona State University. His professional career started at Arizona DOT in 1989, where he has been a university faculty since 1993 and was a regent professor of civil engineering with Oklahoma State University–Stillwater. He is currently Professor of Civil Engineering and Director of Western Transportation Institute at Montana State University. He received the ASCE 2011 Masters Award and the ASCE 2018 Turner Award. He was the President of the Transportation and Development Institute of the American Society of Civil Engineers for FY 2017.
