Mr. Surya Narayanan Sakthivel is a research scholar at the Department of Civil Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Jammu. Mr. Surya completed his master’s degree, M.Tech. in Transportation engineering and Management, from NIT, Tiruchirappalli, in 2019. His areas of interest include pavement material characterization, asphalt pavements, pavement design, and analysis. He is working on an NHAI-sponsored research project. He recently attended the
16 th World Conference on Trasport Research held in Montreal, Canada and secured “Best Paper Award” in the Infrastructure Design and Maintenance Category.
