Kristine Williams is an independent transportation consultant and retired faculty member of the University of South Florida, CUTR. Kristine earned a Master of Urban Planning Degree from Michigan State University and is a Fellow of the American Institute of Certified Planners. She is an Emeritus member and former Chair of the TRB Access Management Committee, principal author of the TRB Access Management Manual, and has helped numerous state, regional, and local agencies develop access management plans and policies. As an adjunct instructor at USF she taught graduate courses and developed curricula in access management, multimodal transportation planning, and sustainable transportation that emphasized active learning through real world community projects.
