Dr. Brake is an Assistant Professor in the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department at Lamar University. Dr. Brake’s research interests are in the analysis and design of concrete pavements, fatigue and fracture characterization of cementitious composites, and the development and characterization of cementitious-based materials, which include: porous concretes, recycled aggregate concrete, alternative coal ash cement binders, and magnetically permeable cement.
